Insurance

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for my services to be covered in full or in part. I am a participating prescriber with Aetna insurance only and offer a limited number of slots for clients with this insurance. If you have a different insurance carrier, you may have out-of-network benefits that would allow you to participate in my services. These are typically referred to as PPO or POS plans. I am happy to verify your insurance and let you know if it is a plan that I can accept.

Alternatively, you can find out more about your benefits by calling your insurance provider and asking the following questions: 

  • Does my health insurance plan offer out-of-network benefits and include mental health coverage?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance company will reimburse you directly for some portion of my fee. I can supply all paperwork and documentation needed in order for you to receive your reimbursement or, in some cases, I can bill your plan directly. I know that navigating insurance companies can be confusing and complicated, and I will provide any needed assistance to help you sort through this process.

Payment

I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment. Payment is due at the time of the therapy session.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session. If you do not show up for a scheduled session, you will also be responsible for the full cost of the session.
